With January being a slow month, so far 2022 has been boring as far a sneakers go. Although, now that February is almost here we are finally getting a look fuu at the upcoming 350 V2 CMPCT in Slate Red. Unfortunately the only looks that have gone around so far, were of a fake upper sitting on top a fake red sole. We first announced these back in October along with the Slate Blue and it seems the excitement for this model has been growing ever since.

Just like the Slate Blue the overall build is the same on this colorway. Featuring a 3D knitted upper and will be using sustainable and recycled materials as part of Adidas’ End Plastic Waste Program. This time coming in a Slate Red base color throughout the entire upper. Then moving right above the midsole the upper has a pinstripe look going from horizontal to vertical as it moves towards the heel in a rich Khaki brown. The rest of the 3D knit features abstract designs that overlay the rest of upper from the midfoot area to toe box in that same brown color.

The sockliner while taking inspiration from the 450 and resembles the top of a low cut sock, also comes in Slate red. The CMPCT 350 does away with standard lace holes and opts for an infinity lacing system with the laces being the same color as the upper. Raised lace holes are weaved right in the upper as part of the 2 piece booty construction.

With this being a whole new model, it’s still part of the 350 V2 family. Although the upper has been completely redesigned. Yeezy still went with the same 350 V2 sole we have always seen on the CMPCT’s predecessor. Full length Boost cushioning completes the sole. This along with the new I upper puts this model at the top most people’s list as the most comfortable model coming from Yeezy now.

Look for these to launch on February 17th for $230. Unlike the Slate Blue which was Exclusive to the United States. This will be a wider launch, you can look for them to release on Adidas.com, Confirmed, Yeezy Supply , and select retailers in your area.
