It’s obvious Yeezy and Adidas’ approach to releases have been quite different as of late. From dropping the Blue Tints 3 times in 3 different regions, to leaving Europe out of a few drops, only to launch them there later. Here’s a recap on the recent Cinder and Stone Carbon releases.
With newer models like the 450 and Knit Rnr, Adidas likes to wait until the last minute to announce the drop. Bv This only gives people a few hours to enter any raffles at any boutiques or to find out if you are in Europe that no retail stores will be releasing the model.
So we make it to the Cinder 450 drop on Yeezy Supply since this model wasn’t as sought after as most Yeezys the queue went away very early and you could just pick your size only to find out that your session has expired with almost no way to fix the issue. So for a lot of people that wanted to wear the Cinder, wasn’t able to get on a drop that was very accesible. We make it to Saturday for the Knit Rnr drop on Yeezy Supply and it sales out within 5 mins. Unless you are just getting into copping Yeezys, you know even on drops with more stock it’s really hard to get through queue, so there was no chance for the Knit Rnr manually. Especially when you get errors saying they think you are a bot. If you hit on Yeezy Supply manually it’s basically a miracle.
Confirmed for the Cinder and Stone Carbon launches decided to not do a raffle drop and went with a queue. This worked really well for the Cinder drop and there was decent stock, you were basically able to pick your size and check out as the queue went away because of the amount of traffic. On the Stone Carbon drop, Confirmed really dropped the ball. I’m always signed into confirmed, and made sure I was before drop, gotta get those points to keep Icon Status ya know. As soon as timer went out, I hit participate to put in size and literally had to re-enter all my info. By the time I was done they were sold out. This seems to be the trend going around as my DMs are flooded with people having the same issue.
It would almost be better for Adidas to just do these queue drops on models that are not as sought after so the people that really want those pairs can grab them rather easy. These limited drops of the more hyped releases they should stick with a raffle drop. I don’t hit every raffle either but the Confirmed raffles are one of the fairest raffles out there even if it don’t seem like it. Yeezy Supply on the other hand they just need to go back to Shopify or something as it’s always such a bad experience for people that want the shoe to wear, and aren’t out here botting trying to get 20 pairs.

- YE24 Merch Has Already Hit Resale Sites On Secondary Market
On December 2nd Johan Galaxy posted on Instagram that a flyer would drop soon with an address for a 1 day only in-store pop-up for the release of Ye’s repurposed YE24 merch.
Since Art Basel has been going on Ye decided to take everything to Miami and have a surprise pop-up. The flyer stated Merch was $20 and limited to 4 per person, with the address of where the pop-up would be.
Videos showed a huge line for the event with some of the pieces originally retailing for $3500 or more. All the products sat out on the floor in what seemed to be color-coded groups reminiscent of in-store Gap drops, not sure if it was separated by size as well.
Video via: BigStuss119
Two days later and pieces have already hit the secondary market on Grailed, and let’s just say they aren’t priced anywhere close to $20 now. Some items are listed from a few hundred bucks to $9000.
Of course, that doesn’t mean people will pay that much, but they very well could. Some of the items that were sold at the pop-up ranged from tees, and hoodies, to even skirts and dresses. It seems like most of the product was Balenciaga, but Ye stated he repurposed brands like Yeezy, adidas, Ralph Lauren, and others.
Whatever your opinion is on his Presidential plans. You have to admit though, what a way to kickstart your Campaign for 2024 by repurposing clothing from some of the brands that dropped you just a month before and selling them for $20.

- First Look: Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse x Air Jordan 1
The details of a special Air Jordan 1 release connected to the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel are in the works. Here’s the rundown below.
When Spider-Man: “Into the Spider-Verse” debuted in 2018, it became an instant blockbuster, earning absurd box office results and receiving its own Air Jordan 1. Next summer will see the release of a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1, expected to coincide with the release of Marvel’s animated feature Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which releases on June 2nd, 2023.
Update 12.3.22: We now have our first in hand and the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse x Air Jordan 1 via JFGrails.
The Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse x Air Jordan 1 features a mix of University red leather overlays at the toe, lacing system, and heel. Alongside it are white underlays. The heel and forefoot areas feature and mix of a burgundy split with normal red leather. Furthermore, the upper heel features a cloth-like material with a red polka-dot design over a mix of blue and yellow. Patent leather finishes the heel detailing in black. The lace eyelets have the same material with a bunch of small red dots. This is an out-there take on the Air Jordan 1, but it seems to work.
The “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” x Air Jordan 1 High OG is expected to release in the summer of 2023, around the same time as the film, in a full family-size run because, you know, you have gotta get the whole family decked out in Spider-Man Jordans. An Exact release date has not yet been made available by Jordan Brand. Turn on notifications for all our social media channels for updates on upcoming sneaker releases.

- Ye And Kim Kardashian Finalize Divorce
The divorce between Ye and Kim Kardashian is now final. Ye and Kim split up in February 2021 when she originally submitted a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage. She then asked a judge to legally terminate her marital status in December 2021 so that they could formally dissolve her marriage and decide custody of the couple’s four children and other issues separately.
In 2014, the pair wed in an extravagant ceremony in Italy. After being married for nearly 7 years, Kim was formally proclaimed single in March 2022 after having her marital status change approved. Ye and Kim have reached an agreement about child custody and property to complete their divorce.
The former couple will share physical and legal custody of their four children according to divorce papers. Ye will have to give Kim $200,000 in child support due at the first of each month. In addition, he will be liable for covering half of the children’s security, medical, and educational costs. They both waived spousal support.
The couple also decided to use mediation to resolve disagreements involving the kids. However, if either party declines to participate, the other is free to resolve a disagreement by default. The couple’s property and other assets will be distributed in accordance with their prenuptial agreement.
- First Look: New YZY 700 V4 Sample In Black
Ever since the Yeezy/adidas split people have wondered what would be next for adidas as far as releases, since they clearly are planning to release more Yeezy designs. Well we still don’t have any news on what’s next for them, but here is some info on a Yeezy model that didn’t make it to release.
Instagram account @fuel_backdoor has the first public look at a new YZY 700 V4 sample. This model was already in development for YEEZY, and has been in development since beginning of 2022. To clarify this is NOT a brand new model that adidas just created in the past month after the October 25th split with Ye. That don’t mean adidas won’t still drop these if they are able to, as they weren’t released. UPDATE: 11.28.22. Yes the tag says 700 V3, but sources close to Yeezy have informed us these were suppose to end up being called the 700 V4 when they released, but since Ye & adidas split, it’s up in their air what adidas will do with the model now.
The YZY 700 V4 borrows its general shape and design cues from the original 700 V3, but unlike a typical sneaker, it doesn’t have a separate midsole, upper, or sockliner. The slip-on is constructed from an EVA foam material, with the upper cage and soles being one piece. It functions kind of as a laceless version of the V3, and is equipped with an integrated neoprene sockliner fused to the foam upper. Then 700 V4 still features the blue polyurethane cushioning from the OG 700 V3 inside instead of Boost.
If you was wondering why Ye made such a big deal about the adiFOM Q, and continually said adidas was stealing his designs. This version of the 700 has been in the works long before the adifom Q had started development. At this point since it wasn’t a model that actually released, we don’t know if adidas has plans to drop these, or if they will even be able to.
A few months back we seen more sample colorways that feature the same upper pattern underneath the “cage” similar to what we see on the OG 700 V3 model. Unfortunately we are not allowed to share any of those images. Which I have to say looks better than the solid panels on the sample pictured. Some of the samples we seen weren’t just plain colorways either. They were finished with vivid colors, with some Mx versions as well. Staying away from the plain Earth tones you would expect. This model definitely has potential, eventhough this sample don’t really reflect that.
- First Look At The Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low
With the resurgence of the Nike Dunk over that last few years it’s no surprise that Nike has prioritized the Dunk silhouette in 2022. We have seen a ton of old colorways make a comeback as well as collaborations. It looks like Nike is continuing to capitalize on this trend by with plenty of colorways for the first half of 2023.
The most recent colorway for the Nike SB Dunk Low silhouette was created in association with the Jarritos Mexican soft drink company. They will debut a fresh colorway for the Jarrito’s drink brand.
Jarritos are now frequently seen in North America. The history of Jarritos is as colorful as their naturally flavored sodas and distinctively molded glass bottles, starting with the beverage’s humble origins in a Mexican cocina and ending with its current status as somewhat of a household name.
The Jarritos SB Dunk’s upper has a combination of aged white leather and canvas, with the canvas overlaying in a beige color. The distinctive jug emblem of the Mexican beverage brand, is weaved into on the lateral side’s heel. The rich green shade of the swooshes take after their iconic logo. The back of the sneakers sport Nike branding on the left with Jarritos on the right. The usual “Nike SB” logos are also omitted and replaced with Jarritos logo on the top of the tongue, further energizing the rather plain with more colors from the brand. The midsole comes in an aged white matching the leather upper with a Jarritos green outsole completing the look.
It’s rumored that these will come with special packaging to enhance the details of the collab. The swoosh label hasn’t revealed a release date for the Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low. The sneakers will instead be made available in Spring/Summer 2023 through the Nike’s SNKRS app, and select skate shops.
- Official Images: Air Jordan 2 ‘Chicago’ Launching December
Over the years, the Air Jordan 2 has largely been forgotten, but there has been a comeback as of late. Collaborations have been very popular in the sneaker industry, and Jordan Brand has used them arguably more effectively than most. This has been their plan of attack for generating interest in the Jordan 2. They’ve had influencers and brands like Virgil Abloh and his Off-White brand, as well as A Ma Maniere, Union LA, J Balvin, and others. A few years ago, nobody wanted a Jordan 2, but that has changed as a result of well planned collaborations with these brands. Therefore, the holiday season is the ideal moment to reintroduce the original Air Jordan 2 ‘Chicago’.
The Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” is made entirely of leather, with panels that are a mix of smooth and embossed. The upper is primarily white with black and varsity red accents at the heel. At the top of the heel, Nike branding is visible in varsity red. On the white tongue, the Air Jordan Wings logo is stamped, and the black trim matches the sockliner.
The midsole features a smooth black finish contrasting the upper. While the outsole comes in OG form in black, red and white color blocking with Nike at the heel. Other details include flat laces in black and the sneakers will be packaged in the Air Jordan 2 ‘Wings’ box. This iteration of the Air Jordan 2 ‘Chicago’ is as close as you can get to the original which will sit well with Jordan collectors.
When Does The Air Jordan 2 Chicago 2022 Release?
On December 30th, expect them to launch for $200. They will be available on the SNKRS app and select retailers. This will be a full family sizing drop. Check out the official pictures below and keep checking back for more sneaker updates.

- Ye Announces Plans To Run For President 2024 And Making Apparel For $20
In a video caught by x17online recently, after giving the cameraman a coat that had just been made, Ye invited him in his design studio where he actually got on to the cameraman for calling him Kanye, but then said in a joking manner it’ll take time for us to update. He then declared his intention to run for President in 2024, saying in part, “We’re moving toward the future.” Ye announced he is working on his campaign with Milo Yiannopoulos, who interned for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Ye is seen in the clip saying, “This is Milo right here, working on the campaign.” In the twelve states where Ye was on the ballot in the 2020 election, he received about 70,000 votes as an independent candidate. He had requested to be entered as a write-in candidate elsewhere.
The two then enter Ye’s offices, where he displays a variety of “YE24” merchandise, including sweatshirts and sweatpants, all of which he says will cost just $20. Ye said he is repurposing stuff he did for YEEZY, Gap, Balenciaga, & Adidas to make new apparel. He also said “We need to make sure that everyone can receive the same level of cuts, the same level of food, the same level of water, the same level of education…we’re getting past the past. We’re focused on the future.”
He went on to say: “This is the update. We are the update. That’s all we need to do. As a species, we need to update together. Everything’s been so divisive. Think about when they say ‘diversity’; people look at that like it’s a good thing, but we’re the United States of America. We’re a universe. We’re a university. We’re a republic.”
