Earlier this week Ye announced on Instagram a DONDA 2 event. We all loved the listening events for DONDA, while similar this event won’t just be just a listening party.

Ever since Ye was living at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium last summer making DONDA, he never quit recording music and basically started DONDA 2 right where DONDA left off.

Ye also took to Instagram this week with some shocking news. Ye stated “DONDA 2 will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player. Not on Apple Amazon Spotify or YouTube. Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own. Go to StemPlayer.com now to order.”

On top of all that news, per a press release sent to Andrew Barber he Tweeted “Per a press release I just received from Ye’s camp, he apparently owns his next album outright (no longer with Def Jam?) and passed on a $100M Apple deal to release Donda 2 via his Stem player:”

The DONDA 2 event along with the album’s release is set for 2.22.22. The event will be held at Loandepot Park, Miami Florida.
