Well, now that the beef between Ye and his corporate partners has died down some, well at least publicly. It looks like Yeezy releases are starting to get back on schedule. Gap just dropped some more items, and now we have and exclusive look at the YZY GAP Boots.
Taking inspiration from the Redwing boots Ye was seen wearing over the Summer. These knee high boots come in a minimalistic design. The all suede boots feature a charcoal finish, and sports a one piece look. Ditching the laces, which has been a trend for newer YEEZY designs, adding to Ye’s growing catalogue of laceless footwear. The upper material goes all the way down hiding the midsole with only the rubber outsole showing. Looking at the boot from a front view the medial side extends up to the knees, then swoops in the front curving to the inside leg area just below the knees.
This gives off that Yeezy Season style in a simpler look. Unfortunately, at this point in time they are likely not dropping due to all footwear at YZY Gap has been blocked by adidas. This is one of many reasons he was voicing his opinion publicly. They won’t let him release all the Yeezys he wants to release. Even though they were gonna make the YZY Gap Boots and surely share in the profit, for some reason adidas doesn’t want to go forward with these. Now that the Gap deal is dead, we may never see these get a release, unless Ye makes them on his own.
