- Multiple New Yeezy Sample Models Hit eBay
As Yeezy fans are still left wondering if we will ever see more Yeezy sneakers hit retailers, with or without adidas. What makes it worse is seeing new models hit the internet as of late with no updates from Yeezy in site. As of now we are only able to get our Yeezy fix with these recent never before seen samples that have surfaced on EBay. Here’s the rundown on two new models below.
A few months back we featured the first public look at a new YZY 700 V3 Foam Knit sample in black. This time around we have a look at the Foam 700 V3 in the Azael colorway. This model was already in development for YEEZY, and has been in development since beginning of 2022.
The YZY 700 V3 Foam Knit borrows its general shape and design cues from the original 700 V3, but unlike a typical sneaker, it doesn’t have a separate midsole, upper, or sockliner. The slip-on is constructed from an EVA foam material, with the upper cage and soles being one piece. It functions as a laceless version of the V3, and is equipped with an integrated neoprene sockliner fused to the foam upper. Then Foam 700 V3 still features the polyurethane cushioning from the OG 700 V3 inside instead of Boost.
Next up, the Yzy Foam Rnr V2 sample has also surfaced. They are still made from injected EVA foam just like the original. This newly shared sample features a Mx finish in a mix of black, orange, and grey. The Mx design is more prominent on this version and still offers the convenience of a slip on while still giving the resilience of a sneaker.
The laceless, tongueless foam silhouette features strategic cutouts in the top and sides, this time in a more oval shape, while the overall clog has a more sleek design. The outsole features the orange and grey mix, while wavy lines make up the traction patterns with linear indentions added as well. The small adidas logo is omitted on version 2, leaving the only branding on the clog inside.
Let us know your thoughts on these new models that were originally planned to drop at the end of 2022 and beginning off 2023. Check out our new page Yeezyinfluence2 for more update on all things Yeezy.
- New Yeezy Mx Slides Surface
Recently produced Yeezy Mx Slides have hit the internet in sample colorways from 2021. The Slides go all the way back to 2018 during one of Ye’s late night Twitter leaks he first revealed to the world a line up of pastel 350s, 500s, a few 700s, and this new 350 V2 with a see through stipe. Ye had everyone on the edge of their seat waiting for the next reveal. Then he posts an on foot of a Blue Foam Slide.
At first, similar to a lot of new Yeezy silhouettes, they were met with mixed opinions. Twitter erupted from people loving them, to people calling them Jail slippers. To fans even saying this is the future of footwear, to others saying Gummy shark 10s and so on.
Fast forward to December 2019 they finally launch. Ye drops the Bone, Resin, and Desert Sand colorways. Even though they sat longer than most Yeezys they still sold out. These in particular if you wanted them you could have gotten them for retail on drop day. Of course there were people that mocked them and didn’t get a pair. Low and behold, once people started posting the new slides on Instagram the climate shifted virtually overnight. Those that clowned them were now salty they missed out for the $55 retail. What was once the mocked “jail slippers” became the most sought after footwear in 2020.
The first Yeezy/Adidas slide Drop Back in 2020 we leaked a few sample Yeezy Slide colorways featuring the a new Mx design with multiple colors. One pair came in a light tan with a mix brown and greys throughout. The second colorway featured a cream base mixed with khaki and a faded pastel blue. This new design was a great addition to the model. Unfortunately we’re only got to see one coloray release with this new Mx pattern when the Ochre Slides dropped December 2021. While these had the new pattern they were still an all tonal colorway so we didn’t get the full effect.
Now two years after we initialy leaked the first two Mx Slide Samples, early sneaker collector snkr_vn123 posted some retail ready colorways. The tags say they were made in April 2022. When we originally got our first look at the samples we were told this style would eventually release, but neither of these colorways were ever on the schedule to launch. This would of been a great move for the Yeezy Slides being able to add more colors into the silhouette. Something that worked great for the Yzy Foam Rnr.
What are your thoughts on all these new models and colorways surfacing? We recently seen the new Tactical 500 High along with a ton of 350’s surface as of late. Are you still on the Yeezy Hype or has this break changed your mind and you’ve moved toward other brands for your sneaker fix. Be sure to keep it locked to our Instagram for more Yeezy news and updates.
